Committees and Goals

Selection Committee
· To adhere to club policy in team selection

Youth Committee
· Provide a safe environment for youth players
· To ensure better players are channelled to district/county squads, plus our senior teams
· To look after the welfare of the players
· To arrange junior training and matches

Finance Committee
· Club finance
· Ensure we raise a minimum of £12,000 to meet all club targets
· Fund-raising
· Events
· Sponsorship
· Database
· New Initiatives

Quality and Development Committee
· To ensure the club development plan is kept up to date
· To ensure club mark is continually monitored
· To manage club welfare
· To devise strategies to manage the change culture at the club
· To ensure messages are appropriately communicated
· St. Helens Development Committee meetings

Operations Committee
· To manage ground issues and timetables
· To organise nets for seniors
· To organise catering for all teams
· To liaise with Robbie

Available Roles

Junior Registration/Membership Secretary (Youth Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Ensure all children are correctly registered (ie., health issues, parents signatures etc etc)
· Collects training money

Team Managers U9’s, U11’s, U13’s and U15’s (Youth Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Confirm and arrange fixtures
· Confirm and arrange scorers, umpires and liaise with coaches on selection
· Notify players
· Arrange transport
· Match fees

Junior Development Officer (Youth Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Co-ordinates youth selection, coaching, welfare and nets summer/winter
· Liaise with team managers, parents and players

Coach U9’s, U11’s, U13’s and U15’s (Operations Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Arrange training sessions once per week
· Attend coaching courses as required

Senior Registration/Membership Secretary (Finance Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Ensure all senior players are registered with the club and the league
· Liaise with junior registration secretary
· Ensure all players have paid subscriptions (ie., arrange yearly meeting for players to pay fees, and follow up)

Sponsorship/Grants Officer (Finance Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Goal is to bring in £5000 general sponsorship
· Chase up new and existing sponsors
· Delegate roles to senior teams to arrange match ball sponsors
· Keep brochure up to date
· Liaise with secretary on Government grants

Database Officer (Finance Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Keep club database up to date

Club Welfare Officer* (Quality and Development Committee)
· Once per month on minor committee
· Once per month on main committee
· Reports all welfare issues to the main committee
· Keep up to date with qualifications

St. Helens Development Representative (Quality and Development Committee)
· Attend St. Helens meetings and report to development committee once per month

Club Mark Officer (Quality and Development Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Ensure that the current award is kept up to date

Communications Officer (Quality and Development Committee)
· Attend meetings once per month
· Liaise with web officer to ensure club website and all key information is kept up to date
· Liaise with database officer to ensure all important club messages are received

THE JUNIORS - Under 18s & Under 15s Training Sessions 2007/08 - Coaching with Ray Ford and Assistants, plus any volunteers who can Coach Sat. mornings from 9-11 am. Under 11s Training Session from 11am - 1pm at the Club.

RAINHILL CRICKET CLUB Sponsored by MH Communications UK Ltd. The RCC achieved Club Mark Accreditation in 2006 and are a LCB Focus Club and are in the Liverpool Comp 1st Division

We are a thriving club, with an very enthusiastic Junior Section, aged from 9 to 18. If you are aged between 9 to 18 and would like to play cricket, which will be in the week after school, you can contact our very experienced Child Welfare Officer, Mr John Rotheram. Applications for Membership are welcome from anybody in the community of Rainhill and surrounding areas.
We are planning extra changing rooms to accommodate all our cricket teams and the football section which overlaps into the cricket season by 2 months.
The RCC operate the England and Wales Cricket Board 'Safe Hands' policy, where your child is Safe to play crikcet here at Rainhill.
You can come down to Rainhill High School for training sessions on Monday's 8-10 and Wednesday's 9-10. The Juniors train on Saturday mornings, Under 13s from 9-11 am and Under 11s from 11am to 1 pm.
Parents/carers are most welcome to supervise and enquire about our membership.
Applications are most welcome from the local community, regardless of sex, race, age, religion and disability.

Liverpool & District Cricket Competition 2008

Rainhill CC are represented in the Liverpool & District Cricket Competition in 2008 by STEVE GREGORY'S 3RD TEAM for their 2nd season.
The 3rd XI results will be posted after the match and your statistics will be updated.
If you would like to Join RAINHILL please contact our Secretary, John Rotheram on 0151 426 2705. If you are 18 or Under you can join our Juniors who have competitive teams from aged 9 to 18. We adopt the ECB's Child Protection Policy.

RCC FANTASY LEAGUE is ON THIS SEASON IN 2008. Download your ENTRY FORM from our website at www.rainhillcc.org. It's only £5 to enter and then £1 per week. Have fun in choosing your players and your Player Ratings up to 250 points and over. GOOD LUCK!
