Fixtures/Results for 16/17th August 2014:-

Rainhill CC 1st Team Qureshi took another 5 wicket haul to take his tally for the season in League Cricket to a mighty 74 wickets at an Average of only 8.18.  Tony Bullock followed up with an important 4 wickets.

Rainhill CC 2nd Team AWAY at Lytham where ROBERT McKEOWN hit a superb century of 127 NOT OUT and the only century in the Club this season off a blistering 94 balls, scoring 21 Fours and 1 Six which ended in a disappointing Draw.

Rainhill CC 3rd Team WON against Orrell with veteran Club player Andy Birkett opening the batting with a determined 25 runs and Jeff Fitzhenry hit the highest score of 31. Connor Appleton & George Corfield took 3 wickets each to bowl out the home side.

RCC Sunday's had a little a Super Wicket Competition.

Rainhill CC are back on top of the St. Helens Super League after 5 matches on 42 pts and have maintained their 100% winning record of 5 out of 5 wins. Phil Veacock leads the RCC batting rankings in 7th place on 128.032 pts and Ross Higham in 12th place on 94.266 pts. Joe Harvey leads the Bowling Rankings in 3rd place on 115.200 pts with Max Howells close behind on 90 pts in 5th place. There's stats for the wicket keepers in which Phil Veacock in 2nd on 129.750 pts and Ross Higham in 4th on 87.516. WELL DONE GUYS, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK! BARBADOS HERE WE COME?

Rainhill CC are involved in AINSDALE's T20 FLOODLIT TOURNAMENT. The 1st Team played Monday night and lost only by 8 runs in an exciting climax at the end. The 1st Team play again on FRIDAY night at 6:30 pm. ALL SUPPORTERS WELCOME TO ATTEND with music and BURGERS on sale.
